Located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, near West Plains, HMBC has been bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to area youth for 61 years. Hammond Mill Bible Camp was established by Rev. and Mrs. Neal Jantz in 1947. The Jantz' were affiliated with the American Missionary Fellowship and the camp was established as an inter-denominational camp. In the 1970's after many successful summers of camping, Rev. Jantz established the Hammonds Mill Bible Camp Board to take over camp operations. This Board is composed of nine people elected by HMBC Association. These elected board members are dedicated to a single goal: reaching youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the goal that drives the HMBC camping format. Each camp is packed with fun filled activities as we teach campers about Christ and the principles of the Christian way of life.
